IL MONDO È PIENO DI PAZZI INNAMORATI
MAKING IDEAS TANGIBLE — COLLABORATION
The exhibition, conceived by Gumdesign for the Centenary of Turandot, takes the enigma as a generative principle, translating the language of music and stage into a grammar of materials, forms and relationships.

ART DIRECTION
Gumdesign
MATERIAL
Rattan, olive strands, straw rope
LOCATIONS
Gran Teatro Puccini, Torre del Lago (Lu)
THE PROJECT
The project developed three woven masks, each conceived in dialogue with a marble vessel. The woven structures translate the enigmatic character of the masks through line, light and transparency, while the natural materials create a dialogue between the solidity of stone and the lightness of weaving.
